The TherapyEd book is a great resource for studying for the NBCOT exam. In fact, it is the only book recommended by many of my fieldwork educators and professors for exam preparation. I liked that it is in outline style. The practice exams are very helpful in targeting your weaker areas and they provide thorough rationales for each question. I generally do not write reviews, but I was so surprised by the number of errors and typos in this book that I had to comment (e.g. One of the test question rationales explains that wheelchair ramps should have 1 foot slope for each foot of rise, when it is actually one foot slope for each INCH of rise). This is a pretty significant error, and issues like this are scattered throughout the entire text.

Just a heads up to all of the OT students- you can get this book for $85 on the AOTA or TherapyEd.com websites! TherapyEd only charged $7.00 for S&H, whereas AOTA is close to $12.00. Don't pay more for used- go get it at one of these sites. I just ordered it, so I have no review of the book itself, although every fieldwork site I've gone to recommends beginning to study for the test using this book asap.
