Based on ICD-10 coding, the case studies that are posted include only diagnosis codes with no diagnosis explanations. The reader has to look up each code in an independent resource in order to answer the questions. This is cumbersome and not at all helpful in trying to study. This is also not reflective of how the actual RHIT exam is prepared. I do not recommend this book at all. I also found there to be many, many errors in the answer key - missing answers, incorrect answers. The publishers appear to have done a poor job of editing in order to throw this book together and get it out to the public. It was a waste of money.By Love being a mom
I bought this as a supplemental study book in addition to the 2013 edition which I needed for class. I wanted to have 2 PRG books with completely different assessments.By Jerico Guerrero
I started with the first test and each question and answer is in the exact same order as 2013. So far I looked at 3 sections and they were exactly the same.
It's a good book though and a great study resource, but there's no reason to buy this new edition.
