I have used this book for other college classes, it is a bit dated now.By patty
I would like to see a newer version, as much of this is now been added to in some cases of theory, research, and reviews.
I needed this book for my child development class in college. This textbook isn't dry like others, as it has many interesting facts and seems to move along in a great manner. The chapters can seem to be an overwhelming length at times (up to 50 pages a chapter), but each chapter has so much information in it. I'm learning a great deal about child development from this class and can honestly say that I like this book.By Amazon Customer
