Content: 3 stars - nothing earth-shattering or inspiring hereBy Jack Schmitt
Style: 4 stars - clear, concise, easy to read
Value: 0.5 stars - ridiculously overpriced for what it is
I read this as part of the required reading for a class. It's fairly well written for a document of its type (ethical standards). Other reviewers have stated their belief that every nurse should have a copy. I can't say I disagree in principle. Every nurse should, at a minimum, read it since the ANA is one of the established voices of the profession. The issue I have with it is the price. It's a 27 page BOOKLET (8.7 x 5.8 inches) for crying out loud. If you need to read this, go to the ANA website and you can read it there for free. You can't print it, though - which is the reason I was looking for a paper copy, but not for over a dollar a page.
This book was a few lines on a page, and only a few pages at that. Not worth the shipping and certainly not worth the cost of the actual text. Should have used internet for resource, but thought this would be a good resource. Skip the cost, it's thin and more like a brochure.By RN Educator
