This book is very useful for veterinary technicians. It covers pretty much every topic that you will need to know. Our hospital keeps a copy on the shelf for the entire staff and I found it so helpful that I bought a copy for myself. If you are interested in Veterinary medicine or are a staff member in a Vet hospital already, this book is a must-have

I wish I had found this book months ago.....it covers everything a new RVT/CVT needs to get their careers started on the right track. There is a lot of review, which is great, but what I'm finding very helpful is real-life scenarios that make you think outside of the box & gives you a firm foundation on how to interact with the clients/patients, as well as with your co-workers. In practice, it can be very intimidating when you're just starting out-but this book has a lot of great information that will help boost your confidence. I think this book should be required for every RVT/CVT before graduation.....Don't let the price scare you away-it's fairly expensive, but it's a large book & in my opinion-worth every penny.
