It is a textbook that is focused on the importance of advanced degrees for nurses. This book promotes the value of the doctorate in nursing, and discusses the value of the RN getting a BSN & MSN. It is readable but dry. I purchased it for a class, and sold it when I was finished. Not a keeper for me.

I used this book for one of my WGU RN-MSN classes. It was available for me for free via E-book. I liked it so well, I wanted a hard copy of it for my office.
