From the Back Cover

Thoroughly updated and revised, this new edition expands on its unique case study approach. This pragmatic approach provides immediate application to content. Real-life cases open the methodologic and ethics chapters and are used throughout the chapters as the primary example. All of the case studies are health oriented in school, community, and hospital settings involving students, teachers, physicians, nurses, and health science researchers. New chapters on analytic epidemiology, descriptive data analysis, and sampling have been added to this edition, and the updated appendices provide condensed information on common statistical procedures and manuscript preparation. For professionals in the health sciences field.
