I bought this particular book for school and it has been very helpful in breaking down the complicated information about the brain. It also helps to organize the information much better than my textbooks. I would highly recommend this book as a quick reference for anyone studying Neurology.

This book is the indispensable ally of anyone studying neuroscience. It combines text with diagrams, charts and schematic drawings that are absolutely essential to a working knowledge of the anatomical structures and physiological functions of the human brain. It includes a macro (systems) approach to gross anatomy as well as detailed information on microscopic anatomy of the brain. Whenever I need a refresher (which is often, so complex is the human brain) most often the level of detail I require is perfectly matched by this book. A neuropsychologist or neurosurgeon possibly might require more detail than that which is offered here, but for therapists and rehabilitation specialists this is an excellent choice.
