I am totally against the 2 star review listed By chiefshwin. I just took the histo shelf and this card hits lots of high yield clinical concepts.
This flash card set is for last minutes study.

You should never substitute flash cards for real-time study. If you need THE BEST pic to study for histo, you should get wheater histology. This book will fulfill "knowing what each cell looks like and what its function is".

Also, if "these cards basically take a BRS book and put them on flash cards,", then this flash card is much worth of buying because of cheaper price.
how can anyone expect the quality of this flashcard ($35) to be as good as that of wheater histology ($70)?

If flash cards are as thick as a book, then it should not be called "flash cards", instead, a book.

Lastly, the reviewer also mentioned that " the cards are very easy to bend and the cards also stick together and move too much.", what kind of comment is this to be related to the quality content of the flash card? No one can "protect" the tearing and wearing of a book or flash cards when you use them all the time.

I bought these cards to help me studies for my histology studies as a first year medical student. When I think of histology, I think of pictures. Learning from pictures, knowing what each cell looks like and what its function is. These cards are not helpful for that. These cards do have a good amount of information on it and they are great for reviewing all the information one needs to know for a written test, but not a practical or laboratory test.

If anyone is familiar with the Board Review Series (BRS), these cards basically take a BRS book and put them on flash cards.

For me, it is hard for me to find different cell types and distinguish them so I was hoping that they would have alot more slides and color pictures indicating what different cells look like and what to look for on those. Also alot of the information on the cards, I feel is not things needed for the board exam nor stressed in my classes.

Another major qualm about this product is that for the price of $35 dollars, I was expecting the cards to be on good quality paper. Like thick notecards; however this is not the case. The cards are almost printed on paper that is the quality of normal printing paper. They are much thinner than the Oxford Index cards I use. This means that the cards are very easy to bend and the cards also stick togther and move too much.

Overall, I would recommend you look for some other product to review and study histology with.
